Our School

P.S. 307, also know as the Daniel Hale Williams School, is a Magnet school for STEM studies located at 209 York Street in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn. P.S. 307 serves children from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade and – as a Magnet school – is open to in-zone and out-of-zone students.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) at P.S.307 is all encompassing, every child from Pre-K to Grade 5 is immersed in STEM studies throughout their day and within all academic subjects. The school has created a STEM lab where students conduct experiments – such as dissecting squid and fish, creating candy catapults, building rubber band racers, making hail in a test tube, and more. With a new WeatherBug weather station at the school, students will analyze weather data and use it to collect and analyze weather data, create graphs and make predictions about weather patterns.
